This course provides a complete introduction to freediving, equipping you to become an autonomous freediver capable of exploring the underwater world with confidence. You’ll learn how to practice safely, understand the physiological effects of breath-holding, dive more efficiently, and manage both the mental and physical aspects of freediving—and apply these skills beyond the water. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to dive safely and comfortably to depths of 12–20 meters, using fins or pulling on a rope, and practice distance disciplines in the pool, with a strong focus on technique, efficiency, and control.
Unlock the world of freediving with our comprehensive beginner course. Learn the physics behind diving, understand how your body reacts to breath-hold, and discover safe, effective techniques for ear equalization, weighting, and underwater movement. Build confidence, efficiency, and control as you explore the water like never before.
Dive deeper into the science of freediving: understand oxygen, carbon dioxide, and how to breathe effectively while holding your breath. Learn to conserve energy, move efficiently, and use mental skills like relaxation and visualization to prepare for effortless, comfortable dives.
Safety comes first. You’ll master buddy diving, rescue procedures, and injury prevention, while gaining knowledge of freediving gear and how to train and progress safely.
Plus, connect with a worldwide community of freedivers through our Dashboard platform—access educational materials, log your progress, join weekly Base Trainings, and exchange tips with fellow freedivers to keep growing and exploring together.
